As part of the Interimconsult 1% Make a Difference commitment we will now be supporting the Hope Nottingham Cafe at Hope House, Beeston, Nottingham. Our ongoing donations will be used to cover the full cost of the food served to their guests.
The cafe, run by the Hope Nottingham charity, prepares around 150 breakfasts every week and at the same time provides services such as citizen's advice, debt management, and an emergency foodbank.
Paul Corcoran, Managing Director of Interimconsult, said:
"At a time when more and more people are struggling to get by on a daily basis, the breakfasts served to their guests at Hope Nottingham's cafe in Beeston can make the difference between going with, or without, a hot meal every day. So this year, as part of the Interimconsult 1% Make a Difference commitment, we have decided to donate 1% of our revenue to cover the full costs of the food served at the cafe.
It was a real pleasure to meet a great team of volunteers and staff who through their dedication, commitment, and contagious enthusiasm, are helping people in our local community every day".
Dominque Scott from Hope Nottingham, who oversees several drop-in hubs across Nottinghamshire, said:
“Hope Nottingham’s Cafe at Hope House in Beeston is a place where we give a warm welcome to all our guests, whether they are coming for a food parcel, a meal, advice, or just someone to talk to. In any one week our amazing volunteer team cook and serve around 150 breakfasts, and we’re delighted that Interimconsult, a regular supporter of our foodbank, have decided to pay our Café food costs and help us increase the support we provide to those in need".
