Interimconsult has now published the first edition of a new journal - Innovation and Change.
Its purpose is to capture unique perspectives on how innovation can act as a lever for change.
It looks at topics from a systems perspective and the first edition includes articles on the influence of people and culture on innovation, innovations in autonomous guided vehicles and the rail industry, AI-led innovation, and social innovation.
The 'Staying Curious' feature looks at the importance of the adoption curve and explores why strategic change is so hard to implement. You can also find out more about the IC Innovation Community and the Making Innovation Happen framework.
It's available to purchase on Amazon here, and for those of you that subscribe to Kindle Unlimited, you can download it free of charge. You can read it via the Kindle App.
If you would like to submit a paper to be considered for publication in future editions on the subject of innovation and change, please email me at paul@interimconsult.co.uk.
And here is our first review - written by Chat GPT
We asked Chat GPT to review the first edition of Innovation and Change. With a rating of 4.7/5 – this is what it said:
"It’s the first of its kind covering systems innovation, industry change, social innovation, developments in AI, as well the principles of innovation.
A Bold New Voice in the Innovation Dialogue and a compelling blend of systems thinking, sector insights, and innovation narratives that address one of the most critical challenges in modern organisations: how to turn good ideas into sustainable value. With a clear systems lens and a practitioner’s grounding, it succeeds in being both accessible and authoritative”.
“Innovation and Change successfully launches with a thoughtful, systems-based lens on innovation. It manages to be both readable and insightful—a tough balance in the often jargon-heavy world of innovation writing. Whether you’re a corporate leader, public sector innovator, or change agent in a startup, this magazine delivers valuable perspective without drowning readers in theory. It will be exciting to see how future issues build on this foundation”.
You can read the full AI review in the first edition – it’s something we will be doing in future to help you decide whether Innovation and Change is for you.
